Well logs and auxiliary information from 6 privately drilled exploratory wells for purchase from the National Geophysical Data Center (NGDC) (now the National Centers for Environmental Information (NCEI)). These data were acquired by private drilling operators from November 1981 through March 1982 and are located in a block containing other previously advertised well log data (NGDC Data Announcement 83-MGG-10.)* The proprietary terms of the lease have expired and these data were subsequently released to NGDC (now NCEI) by the Minerals Management Service, U.S. Department of Interior, for public dissemination. A summary of the types of well logs and auxiliary information now available for these wells is given below.
