| Comments: | In situ - Mussels on chimney, near 043, tightly embedded in rock. Grab of entire rock covered in bacterial mat with embedded mussels. Lab Dark gray porous section of chimney with pyrite-lined flow tubes, very friable with likely sulfates (anhydrite/barite) on exterior. |
