Lithology/Mineralogy: igneous (extrusive/volcanic), basalt
Comments: RD66-1 - 3 pieces (~10x10x5 cm) breccia with brown basalt clasts (~1cm size) and tan planktonic foram matrix. RD66-2 - 1 piece (~15x15x15 cm) breccia with 4-6 cm clasts of microbreccias and highly vesicular basalts. The large clasts are cemented onto a core of extremely hard, white planktic foram limestone.
